Bio

Chae Lim Yoon, a Korean violinist raised in Fairfield, Connecticut, holds a bachelor’s degree from the New England Conservatory of Music and a master’s degree from The Juilliard School, where she is also a graduate of the Pre-College Division.

Yoon began earning recognition for her musical accomplishments at an early age, receiving honors from competitions in both Korea and the United States, including prizes at the National Student Music Scholarship Competition and the Sejong Orchestra National Music Competition in Korea, as well as First Prize at the American Chamber Orchestra Concerto Competition. She has appeared as a soloist with orchestras and performed extensively in solo recitals, chamber music, and orchestral concerts throughout the Northeastern United States.

Since the age of 18, Yoon has also served as a teaching assistant at the Meadowmount School of Music. Passionate about nurturing the next generation of musicians, she finds great fulfillment in teaching students of all ages and levels. Yoon believes in the transformative power of music and is committed to creating meaningful opportunities for young artists to learn, perform, and grow. Through both performance and mentorship, she seeks to inspire curiosity, encourage artistic expression, and enrich the musical journeys of others, sharing classical music as a living and resonant art form.
