My mission as a teacher is clear: music is a human right, and should be an accessible tool for everyone. I am firmly committed to meeting my students’ needs according to their previous musical experience, and accommodating for differences in their goals, learning styles, and musical preferences.

With over a decade of practice and performing experience, rest assured that I am a well-versed musician who can create a welcoming and inspiring learning environment.

Teaching Info

I have a step-wise approach to my teaching. I pay close attention to my students in order to identify where they are struggling in their playing, and work toward goals by breaking them down into basic, intermediate steps.

My teaching covers vital skills for woodwind instruments such as tone production, breathing and fingering techniques, and reading. I especially have a passion for the art of improvisation in many styles, including jazz, blues, pop, and rock.
