Bio

I am a professional saxophonist, composer and educator with 8 years experience as a performer and working artist and teaching students of all ages and in different musical styles. In 2023 I moved from Sydney Australia (where I was active in the Sydney jazz scene) I moved to New York to study a Masters in Jazz Studies at New York University where I studied with Jazz greats Rich Perry, Tivon Pennicott, Billy Drummond and many others.

I have become active in the New York and Brooklyn jazz scene of rising musicians, playing in venues such as Bar Bayeux and Cafe Ornithology and other smaller venues around the city.

I have released my debut album and recorded on a number of other records as a sideman and in session studio settings with pop and commercial artists.

I am passionate about helping you achieve your musical goals however big or small. I want to give you a foundation of having a great sound and solid technique on the instrument while pursing your musical interests.

When you chose me as a teacher you will have a personalised approach to helping you develop and improve on the saxophone. I can teach you how to improvise in a jazz, rock, blues or pop setting, to read music or to play complex classical pieces while helping with the fundamentals of saxophone sound and technique.
