Bio
23-year-old North Carolina native Christopher Bittner, is currently in the process of finishing his second and final year of the graduate program at the Juilliard School in New York City. Bittner is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and studied jazz saxophone under professor Chad Eby. It was there at UNCG that he was given the opportunity to work with with many of the jazz greats of today. Some of these greats include: Donny McCaslin, Lewis Nash, Stephen Riley, Rodney Whittaker, Jerome Jennings, and many more. Bittner has played all over the south east in variety of different bands, with styles ranging from straight ahead jazz to bluegrass. Performing has always been a passion for Bittner, and sharing his music with others is what gives him the most joy in life. Whether its playing, composing, or arranging, Bittner is always striving to improve and entertain audiences from all walks of life.
