Bio
Hi! I am a Taiwanese-American violinist teaching and performing in NYC and abroad. I’ve performed in nine countries and four continents, and received top prizes in multiple international competitions. I enjoy helping students achieve greater skill on the instrument and a deeper understanding of music as an art form, as well as helping them discover a greater appreciation for beauty and character qualities that they can take into their lives.

I place great importance on trying to help my students develop a solid, comfortable technique, and to understand the why and how in violin playing. Students can expect to engage in a regimen of scales, etudes, and appropriate repertoire – and results for those who actively and thoughtfully participate in learning are noticeable and immediate.
