Bio
Jenny Tucker has been performing in theatres for the past 20+ years. She’s won 6 Column awards and is a proud member of Actor’s Equity. She’s worked at Casa Manana, Lyric Stage, Uptown Players, Watertower Theatre and Wishing Star Productions National Tour of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer for 4 years. She served as a Betty Buckley judge for 2 years. She has been a vocal coach at Carroll High for the last 4 years and taught voice and piano out of her home studio since 2013.
Teaching Info
Depending on the student’s individual goals and concerns, I do my best to give them a healthy way of singing any style they are most interested in. My forte is musical theatre and I love helping students develop their audition repetoire. I use Seth Rigg’s technique which develops and strengthens the individuals personal sound. I am relaxed and like to put my students at ease. During the lesson we typically spend 5-10 minutes on warming up, discuss development and then work on materials and technique for the remaining time.
