QualificationsWith a Master’s degree in Voice from the Manhattan School of Music and years of stage experience across the U.S. and Europe, I bring both professional artistry and a deep love for teaching to every lesson. Having performed leading roles such as Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro) and Colas (Bastien and Bastienne), I understand the skills and confidence it takes to shine on stage. Over the years, I have helped students of all ages — from complete beginners to aspiring professionals — develop strong vocal technique, musicality, and stage presence. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether they are preparing for a school audition, a music competition, or simply discovering the joy of singing and playing piano.

Bio
Hi, I’m Joseph Wang, an opera singer and music teacher with a passion for helping students grow in both skill and confidence. I hold a Master of Music in Voice from the Manhattan School of Music and a Bachelor of Music from Shenzhen University.
On stage, I have performed a variety of roles across opera and classical repertoire, including Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro), Colas (Bastien und Bastienne), and roles in other productions that span from Broadway-inspired works to traditional opera. This diverse experience allows me to guide students in multiple styles and help them find their own musical voice.
In my teaching, I focus on creating a supportive and engaging environment, combining solid technique with creativity and expression. I enjoy working with students of all ages, helping beginners discover their love of music and advanced students prepare confidently for performances, competitions, or auditions.
