Bio
Teaching music is one of my greatest joys. I have experience performing and teaching worship, classical, pop, country, folk, and musical theatre. I am dedicated to helping students grow not only as musicians and performers, but also as people. With a Bachelor of Music and a Masters of Arts in Ethnomusicology, I am passionate about tailoring lesson materials to each student’s experiences and unique background. I work with students of all ages and have experience teaching ESL learners.
With over 14 years of experience singing in choral groups as well as 8 years of experience performing with and leading multiple worship ensembles, I am convinced of the benefits of singing for people of all ages and experience levels.

Music lessons are designed to fit around the student’s needs so can take many forms. For younger students I often incorporate music and movement as well as music exploration activities. For older students I focus on technique development, performance skills, repertoire expansion, and music theory.
