Bio

Nicholas Urbanic is a freelance drummer/percussionist with extensive touring and off-broadway experience. Playing in notable venues such as Carnegie Hall, The MET, 92NY, The York Theatre, and many more, Nicholas is a passionate performer and educator. He has a Master of Music from NYU in Percussion Studies and Bachelor of Music and Bachelor Music Education degrees from Baldwin Wallace University. Nicholas has teaching experience both privately and publicly in Ohio and New York. Working as a teaching artist with Harmony Program helped Nicholas understand the need for quality and engaging teaching in greater NY and he is excited to share lessons with you!

Teaching Info

Depending on skill level you can expect to work on Snare Drum or Drum Set as a baseline. Dedicating time to rudiments, grooves, and overall solidity in your playing. I want to help you feel comfortable in whatever you’re playing no matter the dynamic, tempo, or style! For auditions, orchestral work, and more percussion dedicated students, I am happy to find a way to gain access to those instruments and best prepare you for that material!
