Nicole Caglione began studying the violin at the age of 8 under Juilliard graduate Rose-Marie Johnson of the Long Island String Quartet. Since then Nicole has studied with and performed for Violin Virtuoso Julia Sakharova as well as Professors Isaac Malkin and Anat Malkin-Almani at both the Manhattan School of Music and the Juilliard Evening Division. As a recitalist, she has appeared in performance’s at the Nyack Academy of Music Festival and the Jascha Heifetz Symposium at both Shady Side Academy and Connecticut College, having studied with the late renowned violinist, Sherry Kloss, herself a protégé of legendary violinist Jascha Heifetz. Nicole continues to consult with her mentor Sherry Kloss as well as Elaine Skorodin and most recently Joseph Silverstein. Nicole has subbed for the Long Island String Quartet, has been Guest Violinist with the Stony Brook University Orchestra and continued her Violin studies with Dale Stuckenbruck at Long Island University. Along with her studies at Long Island Univeristy Nicole has also studied at the Academy of Music Festival where her mentor’s were Bracha Malkin, Mikhail Kopelman and Sergey Ostrovsky. In May of 2011 Nicole made her Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center orchestral debut with the Park Avenue Chamber Symphony under the batons of David Bernard, Paul Plew and Mark Hayes. Nicole has been invited by Susan Deaver to perform with the North Shore Symphony Orchestra and by Sylvia Levin Rubin to collaborate as soloist with the Adelphi Chamber Orchestra. Nicole has been the Assistant Principal Violinist for the Park Avenue Chamber Symphony where she embarked on a nationwide concert tour of China, and was the lead violinist for Theater Three’s production of the broadway hit “Next To Normal.”


Nicole was been invited to audition for the New York Philharmonic and has performed at the US Open.  Nicole continues to perform as a soloist with the Chelsea Symphony and is an active member of the orchestra.
